2025 Day & Night Sports Department Football Tournament begins at JNRM Ground

At the JNRM Football Ground in Sri Vijaya Puram, the Department of Sports’ 2025 Men’s Day & Night Sports Department Football Tournament got underway on April 21. Mr. Vikram Singh, the director of sports, wished everyone well and encouraged the teams to compete with good sportsmanship at the start of the tournament. There are 24 teams competing in the competition, representing local clubs, government and corporate organizations, and youth clubs. Earlier in the ceremony, the attendees were welcomed by Mr. Mohammed Irshad Ahmed, Assistant Director (Sports & Physical Education), Directorate of Education. In the first game, Meshack Sporting Club and JNRM played a close match, with JNRM winning 1-0 to earn the tournament’s first victory.
